Former Australian tennis champion and face of Bonds underwear is rallying to sell his Woollahra terrace house.

Former Australian of the Year Pat and his wife Lara’s Wallis St home, in Sydney’s swanky east, failed to sell at its May auction with a price of more than $2.6 million.

The two-storey terrace was then withdrawn from its June auction and is now for sale on realestate.com.au asking for more than $2.5 million.

The Rafter family is now based in Noosa, where children Joshua and India have the run of a double block that was bought in 2006 for $9.5 million.

Pat, a former world number one tennis champion, had purchased the Wallis St, Woollahra in 2007 for $2.35 million, the same year the family sold their Mosman mansion for $7.75 million.

Run Property Darlinghurst spokesman Paul Efphron told The Daily Telegraph the property was on a deep 280sqm block with rear access, had flowing open interiors, bi-fold doors opening to the outside plus a large entertainment deck overlooking landscaped gardens.
