Abbott selfie parodies

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has found himself the victim of a series of Twitter parodies after posting a photo – or a selfie – of himself on the phone on the social media site.
The image of Mr Abbott was captioned that he was getting an update on the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 from Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston.
In the hours following the tweet, a large number of photos have been posted on Twitter ridiculing Mr Abbott, not unlike the response when British Prime Minister David Cameron posted an image of himself on the phone talking to US President Barack Obama earlier this year.
Here is a taste of some of the images that have appeared.
