Chaos at Bondi Beach after woman is stabbed


The stabbing occurred just two blocks from the iconic Sydney beach.
A woman has been taken to hospital after she was stabbed in the head, reportedly with a screwdriver, at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
NSW Police were called to Roscoe Street after reports of a stabbing just after 11am on Friday.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 36-year-old woman for a head injury. She was then taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident is underway.
Roscoe Street is in the heart of Bondi, connecting to a path that leads to Bondi Beach Park and the waterfront, which are only blocks away.
