Child’s wild drive
Police in Bedford, Ohio, in the United States were shocked to learn an eight-year-old girl drove, solo, some 20 kilometres to a Target shop. She was found drinking a frappuccino.
This dash cam footage caught some of her journey. Officers apparently let her finish the drink.
Footy feud
Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley and Hawthorn captain James Sicily went head-to-head in a rare bit of verbal stoushing after the Power beat the Hawks in a tight semi-final.
The Power copped a $20,000 fine from the AFL for Hinkley’s conduct, the coach not happy at an Instagram comment made by Hawks forward Jack Ginnivan before the game.
Dire European floods
Floods across Europe have claimed 19 lives this week. Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czechia, Austria and Romania were all hit, with areas of the Czech-Polish border copping the worst.

Moo Deng gets hit
The viral pygmy hippo from a Thai zoo, Moo Deng, has been generating smiles all across the world recently.
It seems the only living being not happy with the animal was a monkey.
