Naomi Osaka’s splashy US Open return

The tennis player competed in her best match since returning to the courts post-childbirth, and marked the moment with a custom Nike–Yoon Ahn collab.

“She sent me a few looks of this ‘Lolita’ goth thing she was really vibing at that moment,” Ahn told The New York Times.

“They go out and wear pink, frills, bows, lace. It’s about really owning the cutesy-ness and the girly-hood.”

Osaka declared the design was the “the best outfit I’ve ever worn’’.

She wore a black version of the frilly design for her second match later in the week, which unfortunately saw her knocked out of the tournament.
