Murder charge after man stabbed at local business

A man has been charged with murder over the stabbing death of a man known to him in Townsville.
Police allege the 31-year-old from Cranbrook entered a business in the suburb of Kirwan on Monday about 4.40pm and stabbed a 26-year-old man.
The alleged victim was treated by emergency services but died at the scene.
Police have charged the accused man with murder, entering a dwelling to commit and offence and contravening a domestic violence order.
He is expected to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
