This week, children were riding sheep at a football game, while a 12-year-old in Michigan led police on a wild ride.
Plus, a popular Australian band is getting plenty of recognition overseas thanks to their Triple J Hottest 100 winning song from 2018, and TikTok.
Here are some trending stories from throughout the week that you may have missed.
NFL’s bizarre half-time show
This week at halftime during a Denver Broncos home game, fans were treated to a bizarre halftime show.
Sheep were let onto the field during the break in play and young children were put on their backs. The idea is to get as far down the field as possible.
There were a few kids falling off the sheep and one looked like they might have been trampled, but immediately got straight up.
The bizarre entertainment was brought to football fans by the National Western Stock Show, which returns to Denver in January.

Child steals forklift
Police in Michigan went on an hour-long chase this week after a 12-year-old boy stole a forklift.
The forklift was stolen from outside a middle school and the key was left in the cab, according to police.
After police were called they found the child driving the forklift on the streets.
Ann Arbor Police stopped the pursuit when the child left the city limits, but the boy was eventually picked up by another police department.
No one was injured, however parked vehicles were reportedly hit and the boy was taken into custody.

Ocean Alley take on the world
The rest of the world is now discovering Ocean Alley, a band which hails from Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The band’s song Confidence was released five years ago, even claiming number one on Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 2018.
However, TikTok users have been using a sped up version of the song in their TikTok videos – and now people abroad are discovering Ocean Alley for the first time.
Australians are reacting to people from overseas discovering the band.
There was a trend going around where people used the song and would post photos saying “behind every girl with immaculate music taste” and they would show who was behind their music taste.
The band did a play on that, giving a shoutout to their “incredible” fan base.
Confidence has now re-entered the ARIA top 50 singles chart, coming up from 95 to 40.
Yes, Ocean Alley would have had fans all over the world well before this, but it’s always nice seeing local talent getting the recognition overseas.
