The year is nearly over – and well, what a year 2022 has been.

Here at The New Daily there have been hundreds of big stories over the year and we have written about literally thousands of people, but some of the same names do keep cropping up.

Politics, entertainment, sport, health, culture; there have been plenty of big stories that got people talking and we’ve covered them all.

We had a federal election, we wrestled with the aftermath of COVID, we turned to our entertainers for comfort and they brought their own share of controversy and chaos.
