Man ‘used dark web to advise paedophiles on rape, torture’
A Melbourne man described by the FBI as one of the world’s worst paedophiles encouraged a Russian man to kidnap, rape, torture and murder a five-year-old girl, the Victorian County Court has heard.
Prosecutors said Matthew Graham, 23, pretended to be an American paediatrician with the codename Lux when he created and administered several child pornography websites on the dark web, known as the “pedo empire”.

He told a Russian who planned to murder a young girl that he should take her to an isolated spot well away from where he kidnapped her, and then to bury the body some miles away.
Judge Michael Tinney said Graham, from South Morang, had provided the encouragement and where it all wound up was anyone’s guess.
Graham also advised a paedophile in Britain called “Jabba”, who worked at a home for children with disabilities and wanted to abuse a seven-year-old girl with muscular dystrophy, not to film her wheelchair as it might identify him.
But Graham added it was good that she was unable to talk because she would be harder to trace.
Prosecutors have detailed dozens of videos and images Graham posted online, which are too depraved to detail.
The case is continuing.
