Paper says ‘thanx’ year after ‘World is F***’ error
Almost a year after The Australian Financial Review‘s erroneous front-page echoed around the world, The Daily Telegraph has published a fitting tribute.
On April 24 last year, The Fin told its WA readers the world was ‘Fukt’ on its front page, joined by a misspelt ‘Gallipolli’, ‘headline tk here’ and unexplained empty space.

Sydney-based tabloid The Telegraph has tried its best to imitate.
“CAp here for the royals thanx,” said the caption on a photograph of Prince William and Princess Kate.
The photo in Thursday’s edition also appealed for “mlore words to fil” as well as a “foto credit”.
Luckily, the mistake appeared on page 21.
It is unlikely the tabloid will be forced to issue a similar apology to that of The Fin.
Financial Review editor-in-chief Michael Stutchbury described his paper’s April 24, 2014 front page as “obviously unacceptable”.
An updated edition of the paper was later distributed without the errors.
