Waiter gets $25,000 tip, told to fix his teeth
A waiter in the American city of Kansas has been given thousands of reasons to smile after a customer left him a $25,000 tip for a new set of teeth.
On his first ever time dining at the Doo-Dah Diner in Wichita, Fred Boettcher gave the money to his server, a 43-year-old single father suffering from tooth decay, to invest in a brand new set of chompers.
When fellow staff and the waiter himself found out about the generous gift, they hugged, cried and cheered according to The New York Daily News.

The waiter, Brian Maixner, said his family couldn’t pay for treatment when he was young and that over the past six years his teeth had started to decay to the point where they embarrassed him greatly.
He told The New York Daily News that even though they made him self conscious, they’d never effected him in his 20 year career as a waiter,
“It’s so great. It’s a huge weight off of my shoulders … I just have this new appreciation for my health.” Maixner said.
“He (Mr Boettcher) had a lot of dental issues as a kid and he told me ‘I can do this and I should do it.”
Maxiner explained that the customer’s charity was inspired by his Christian faith and that his colleagues and regular customers were thrilled.
“They all said ‘Wow! … Me too. I’m still looking at the mirror!”
The waiter’s employer who said they had never had a problem with how he looked because of the quality of his service, posted a before and after picture to Twitter showing the stunning results.
