Train slams into car at crossing
A train has crashed into a car at a railway crossing at Officer, in Melbourne’s outer south-east, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries.
The collision happened on the Pakenham line at Brunt Road just before midday.
Police and emergency services are working to free the driver, who is believed to have life-threatening injuries.
The have been no reports of any injuries to passengers of the train.
The cause of the collision is being investigated.
