Police are investigating after two bodies were found in separate locations in the same inner Brisbane suburb overnight.

Officers said two both human remains and a man’s body were found in Teneriffe just after 9:00pm last night.

Regional Duty Inspector Daniel Bragg said there are two crime scenes but he can not say what happened.

“Police from Fortitude Valley received some information to attend an address at Commercial Road, Teneriffe,” he said.

Once at the scene officers discovered human remains inside a unit.

Police conducted a search of surrounding streets, which led to the discovery of a man’s body in nearby Dath Street.

“We have established a crime scene and the matter is currently being investigated,” Inspector Bragg said.

A crime scene is still in place at Commercial Road.
