Believe it or not, these pics were taken on a phone
Sydney-based professor Kim Goodwin has little photography experience, but her snap of El Calafate, Argentina, is about to be viewed by people all over the world.
Ms Goodwin’s striking shot of glacial peaks meeting deep green forests is just one of the incredible images featured in Apple’s iPhone 6 series.

“I didn’t really have any photography experience prior to iPhone photography,” Ms Goodwin explains.
“I dabbled with an SLR but not actively, nor was I any good.”

Like most others featured in the series, Ms Goodwin’s photo was taken on the in-built iPhone 6 Camera app without any alterations or edits.
“iPhone photography is a daily opportunity to express creativity for me, while also showcasing the world in which I live and travel.”
To capture her now famous image, Ms Goodwin said she made several attempts and advises budding shutterbugs to shoot often, use natural light and take wide shots, cropping them down to size later.
