Instagram finally introduces crucial feature
After enduring years of awkward autocorrect errors, Instagram users can now finally edit their photo and video captions on the popular app.
Where previously users were forced to delete the post entirely or post a correction in the comments section, they can now make as many changes as they like.
“This has been one of the top requests that we’ve heard from the community, and we’re excited to finally bring it to you today,” Instagram wrote in a blog post.
Editing the caption is a matter of clicking the menu button (the three dots on the bottom right hand corner of the post) and selecting the ‘edit’ option.
Like Facebook, Instagram will indicate to other users when a post has been edited.
