With the highly anticipated iPhone 6 set to be released on Wednesday morning Australian time, tech giant Apple’s mobile offering is once again in the spotlight.

As the countdown begins, US business site Finances Online has released the following breakdown explaining the innovations of the iPhone since it first revolutionised the mobile market in 2007.

It also reveals the most desired features we want to see in the iPhone 6, and the things users have earmarked as overdue for improvement (see below).
