Five binge-worthy TV shows to watch this weekend


The White Lotus is back with a new cast and new setting.

The White Lotus, season three – Binge
What can we say about The White Lotus that hasn’t already been said? Mike White’s sensational series is the most talked-about show of early 2025, and for good reason.
Following on from its widely acclaimed second season, The White Lotus season three exchanges the chic setting of Sicily for the tropical paradise of Ko Samui, where an almost entirely new cast of characters (played by the likes of Walton Goggins, Parker Posey, Michelle Monaghan and Lalisa Manobal – aka Lisa from Blackpink) will be getting up to no good.

Charlie Cox returns in the title role for Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again – Disney+
The latest chapter in the long-running Marvel Cinematic Universe has just dropped its first two episodes on Disney+.
Daredevil: Born Again is a revival and continuation of the Daredevil Netflix series, which follows blind lawyer Matt Murdock (portrayed by Charlie Cox) as he fights crime in the courtroom by day, and on the streets of Hells Kitchen as the masked vigilante, Daredevil.
In this series, Daredevil again comes face to face with long-time nemesis Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), who has exchanged the mantle of kingpin of crime in favour of becoming mayor of New York City.

There are plenty more mysteries to unravel in the new series of Severance.
Severance, season two – Apple TV+
After becoming a cult-favourite in many households thanks to a sensational debut season, Severance has returned to Apple TV+ with plenty more mysteries to unravel.
This season rejoins the core cast of intrepid ‘innies’ (employees of Lumon Industries that have separated their workplace memories from their primary memories) as they continue to search for answers among the winding hallways of Lumon’s subterranean headquarters.
Mind-bending and heartwarming in equal measure, Severance is a must-watch for those who love engrossing television.

Kate Hudson leads in the feel-good Running Point
Running Point – Netflix
Some of the brightest minds in comedy are behind Netflix’s latest sensation, Running Point.
The sports comedy stars Kate Hudson as 30-something reformed party girl Isla who gets appointed as the president of her family’s pro basketball team, the Los Angeles Waves. In addition to learning how to run a basketball team on the fly, Isla must contend with her ambitious brothers, juggle her own relationship and prove herself in a notoriously male-dominated industry.
