And the best value streaming service in Australia is…

Hold onto your eyeballs, because Prime Video has dangled a carrot in front of streaming video fans that is too good to refuse.
After quietly launching in Australia last year, Amazon’s streaming video-on-demand service (SVOD), which offers a selection of TV series and movies, is now available for a monthly price so insane it feels like a crime.
Competing with well-known SVOD services Netflix, Stan, Foxtel Play and Quickflix, it appears Amazon is priming (pun definitely intended) the Australian market for a full release of its online shopping and media services later this year.
The price
Amazon is now offering Prime Video subscriptions for the price of US$2.99 (AUD$3.95) per month, for six months, which renews at US$5.99 per month after that.
You read that correctly. Amazon has opened its video library to Australians for the price of a coffee.
