The Bachelor uses the same dress for three seasons

It’s probably a good thing that The Bachelor contestants don’t have access to the internet – otherwise, Keira might discover her ‘Cinderella Dress’ from Thursday night’s episode had been worn by two princesses before her.
It’s ironic that Keira, who on Wednesday night said without a hint of sarcasm, “I’m not here for sloppy seconds”, was gifted a dress apparently recycled by the series three times for her romantic, fairytale-themed date with miner Richie.
The gown received enthusiastic “oohs” and “aahs” from Keira’s female rivals as she descended the stairs after winning over Richie with a hyper-sensual ballroom dancing number.
But unless she was a true fanatic of the show, she probably didn’t realise the dress had been worn by both Bachelorette Sam Frost in her series finale and Bachelor contestant Rachel Moore when she was an ‘intruder’ in 2015.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
So how did the show’s producers manage to breathe life into the bridal gown for the third time?
It appeared Keira’s dress, which was intended to bring a sense of old-school glamour to her fairytale date, had received some alterations.

Unlike Frost and Moore’s tight-fitting numbers, Keira’s featured a large black-and-white tulle skirt, which billowed out from the waist.
Despite the striking similarities pointed out by many Bachelor fans, an interview with Australian couture designer Philippa Galasso claimed she had loaned the show three separate dresses.
Judging by Keira’s reaction to sharing Bachelor Richie with her fellow contestants, she would be less than happy to discover the dress she wore on her first date with him had at least seemingly been a part of two other women’s reality TV stories.

‘Crying, whinging Keira’
In just two weeks in the Bachelor pad, Keira has earned herself a reputation as the complainer of the group.
On Thursday night’s episode, a number of Richie’s gaggle made snide remarks about Keira’s tendency to “whinge” about everything put in front of her.
“i don’t like dates"

The blonde from Sydney was also the centre of another cat fight on the highly-rated program when she lost her cool at crowd favourite and songbird Eliza.

Eliza should have known better than to challenge Keira on her earlier comments about not being satisfied with a brief – rather than day-long – date with Richie.
Cherub-faced Eliza attempted to make amends at the inevitable cocktail party later on, to no avail.
There’s always next week.
