In another moment to add to the pantheon of awkwardness brought to us by Family Feud, a contestant of the US version of the show has given one of the oddest answers ever.

Host Steve Harvey asked female contestant Darci to, “name something a doctor might pull out of a person”.

“A gerbil,” Darci replied immediately.

“I didn’t say that, I didn’t say that,” she said obviously embarrassed after her answer.

“I heard about something like that once,” she explained.

“First thing you could come up with, just BAM! Gerbil!,” Harvey said.

There were, unsurprisingly, no matches for Darci’s answer and when her opponent, Manny, stopped laughing he answered “a baby” which was one of the top matches.

Darci has since become an internet sensation with the clip drawing more than eight million views on Youtube.
