Carrie Bickmore makes Christopher Pyne blush
Gold Logie winner Carrie Bickmore made a rather interesting confession to Education Minister Christopher Pyne on air on Monday night – one that left the politician clearly bemused.
After talking about the birth of her daughter Evie seven weeks ago on Channel Ten’s The Project, Bickmore admitted to Mr Pyne she thought about him as she was going into labour.

“I thought of you as my baby was crowning,” Bickmore told Mr Pyne as the rest of the panel gasped.
“You’re not the first person to tell me that – weird actually,” Mr Pyne, clearly stunned, said.
The 34-year-old presenter quickly clarified she had watched the Education Minister’s infamous “fixer” interview and thought of it as she went into labour to make herself laugh.
“That night, as I was going into labour, I was watching your fabulous ‘I’m a fixer’, and I was watching it over and over,” Bickmore said.
The presenter was referring to Mr Pyne’s notorious Sky News interview in March where he told journalist David Speers he’d fixed a funding issue because he was “a fixer”.
“I thought to myself ‘I must remember that when I’m in intense pain if I need a laugh, to think of Christopher Pyne’s ‘I’m a fixer”,” she said.
“And then as it was happening, I was thinking ‘I’m a fixer'”.
The confession was made even funnier by the fact Mr Pyne appeared wearing an Adelaide Crows beanie, which was in support of Bickmore’s #BeaniesForBrainCancer campaign.
