Colleagues rejoice at Kruger’s baby news
Sonia Kruger, the Nine Network TV presenter who rose to fame hosting Dancing With The Stars, is having a baby.
The dynamic star is just about to host Nine’s Big Brother Australia as well as continuing her role on the network’s breakfast show Mornings.
Kruger, who will turn 49 this week, announced the news on her Twitter page on Saturday with a pic of her own feet in sexy Valentino shoes and a pair of baby socks.
“Hey everyone. Here’s a fun fact…I’m having a baby!” she posted.
Kruger and her partner TV executive Craig McPherson have previously revealed their efforts to have a baby both naturally and through IVF.

Back in 2009 Kruger sparked gossip when her Dancing With The Stars and radio co-host Todd McKenney, who is openly gay and already father of a child with an old friend, declared he wanted to have another baby with Kruger.
The same year she split with husband of six years, English businessman James Davies.
Kruger and McPherson have conceived a few times together but each time she has miscarried.
She shares this story in the September issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly, on sale this Thursday.
Kruger, who is 16 weeks pregnant, will discuss her news on Mornings on Monday at 9am on Channel Nine.
