Forget the red carpet at the Academy Awards, the best-dressed stars weren’t even invited.

While celebrities like Hailee Steinfeld, Brie Larson, Taraji P Henson, Janelle Monae and Emma Stone shone on the red carpet, the real knockout style moments came courtesy of Vanity Fair’s annual after party.

Attendees included all the A-list stars who couldn’t be accommodated at the actual ceremony, but whose high-profile status still needed to be recognised.

Supermodels, rock stars, pop stars and former Oscar winners filed into the exclusive party in Beverly Hills in dresses made for dancing.
