Pop superstar Taylor Swift has wowed fans after bringing boyfriend Travis Kelce on stage with her at a London concert.

There were loud cheers and applause when the footballer appeared on stage wearing a top hat and a black tailcoat, carrying Swift in his arms during her Tortured Poets Department segment on Sunday (local time).

His surprise stage debut came almost exactly a year after Kelce reportedly swept Swift off her feet with a friendship bracelet.

In Sunday’s appearance at a packed Wembley stadium, Kelce fanned himself with a hand fan, danced and smiled at Swift while her dancers helped her with an on-stage costume change.

Before she walked away to sing I Can Do it With a Broken Heart, Swift turned toward Kelce and appeared to blow him a kiss.

Sunday’s unexpected bonus came as more celebrities joined the crowds at Swift’s London concerts. Sir Paul McCartney and Jon Bon Jovi were the latest to be spotted, after the Prince of Wales celebrated his 42nd birthday at the venue on Friday and Top Gun actor Tom Cruise was captured on video there on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, Swift and Kelce went “Instagram official” in their relationship with a post on her account of a selfie with Prince William and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. It is the first time she has shared a shot with the footballer.

Also there on Saturday were William’s cousin Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall. Other celebrities to be spotted at the Eras Tour in London include Liam Hemsworth, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Rachel Zegler and Hugh Grant.

Swift began the UK leg of her juggernaut Eras Tour with three dates in Edinburgh, followed by shows in Liverpool and Cardiff, before she brought her tour to the capital.

A video, widely circulated on social media, on Sunday showed Beatles star Sir Paul, 82, walking through an area of the stadium separated from fans. Another photo appeared to show rock star Bon Jovi, 62, in shades and a pink hat while watching Swift’s performance.

Love Actually star Grant was there on Saturday, praising Swift for her “incredible” show and “amazing” team.

The billion-dollar Eras Tour takes fans through Swift’s back catalogue, including hits from albums 1989, Red and Midnights.

The revamped set list, which she first unveiled at the Paris shows, also includes songs from her latest offering The Tortured Poets Department.

Swift next plays in Dublin, although she will return to London to play another five nights at Wembley in August.
