Midnight Oil terrific again but show cut short with Jim Moginie slipping over on stage, unable to return for encore. Hope not too serious ❤

Oils at Myer Music Bowl tonight. A killer concert. Poor Jim Moginie slipped at the end hurting himself and cutting short the encore. Hope he is ok (he’s a musical genius) #midnightoil @jimmoginie pic.twitter.com/iDe1B1kxm1

“Thanks to all at the Myer Music Bowl tonight. Sorry for the short encore but Jim took a spill and hurt his leg at end of main set. Wishing him a quick recovery,” the band wrote on Facebook.
Midnight Oil are currently playing their Great Circle world tour and have four dates left before completing the around the world comeback tour in Sydney on November 17.
They did not say whether Moginie would be well enough to play the rest of the gigs, or would need to be replaced.
