Sia, Flume, Keith Urban score Grammy nods
Sia, Keith Urban and Sydney DJ Flume have scored Grammy Award nominations.
Adelaide-born Sia Furler is nominated for the coveted Best Pop Vocal Album for This is Acting, and will go head-to-head with Adele, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.
Sia was also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group (Cheap Thrills) and for Best Song Written for Visual Media for Try Everything, a collaboration with Shakira for the animated hit Disney movie Zootopia.
Queensland-raised Urban is no stranger to the Grammys.

He is nominated this year for Best Country Solo Performance (Blue Ain’t You Color), Best Country Song (Blue Ain’t Your Color) and Best Country Album (Ripcord).
Sydney 25-year-old DJ, musician and record producer Harley Streten, known worldwide as Flume, was nominated for Best Dance Recording for Never Be Like You and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skin.
The top nominees for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 12 were Beyonce with nine and then Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West with eight each.
The Album of the Year nominees were: Adele (25); Beyonce (Lemonade); Justin Bieber (Purpose); Drake (Views); and Sturgill Simpson (A Sailor’s Guide to Earth).
The Record of the Year nominees were: Adele (Hello); Beyonce (Formation); Lukas Graham (7 Years); Rihanna featuring Drake (Work); Twenty One Pilots (Stressed Out).
