Sit down, Paul: McCartney’s daggy dad dance

You can be one of the biggest rock gods in modern music, but Sir Paul McCartney became living proof on Monday that it won’t make you a good dancer.
The Beatles musician, who has sold over 100 million albums during his career, was captured dancing very badly during the Grammy Awards.

Sir Paul was having a great time, dancing to Electric Light Orchestra’s Evil Woman, when the cameraman asked him to sit down.
The great @PaulMcCartney wants to dance to @AnnieLennox and @Hozier too, until you put the camera on him! #GRAMMYs https://t.co/jRrW6sauql

The 72-year-old embarrassingly put his hands up in defeat before sitting down like the rest of the audience.
McCartney’s daggy dance was lauded on Twitter, with some saying McCartney was “like a Dad at a Bar Mitzvah”.
Others said the rest of the broadcast should be footage of him dancing.
He salvaged his credibility later in the show, rocking out on stage with rapper Kanye West and Rihanna.

What the? I just turned #GRAMMYs on and Paul McCartney is dancing to ELO. Is this high school? If so, I’m not doing my homework. Again.
