Missy Higgins has given birth to her first child, a boy she named Samuel Arrow Lee.

The Australian songstress posted a picture of her son with fiance, playwright Dan Lee, on Tuesday.

“Our little boy Samuel Arrow Lee arrived yesterday,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Not sure how we managed it but he seems perfect. And we’re besotted! Let the adventures begin…”

The 31-year-old singer songwriter burst onto the Australian music scene in 2001 when her song “All for Believing” won Triple J’s Unearthed competition, and she has since recorded four albums.
