A video of a child hitting their mother with a toy gun from across the room, while she holds a tray of paint, has left some feeling glad they don’t have children, while others were sceptical.

Real or fake, it’s a good reminder to cover furniture when painting.

Platypus rescued by hikers

In a very sweet video, a trapped platypus was taken safely back to water by hikers passing by.

Although cute, the platypus is one of the few mammals alive today that produces venom, so perhaps don’t try this unless you know what you’re doing.
