Marvel is aiming to get you hooked on a feeling again.

It has released the first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, a peak at the forthcoming sequel from director James Gunn.

Gunn has also tweeted out a poster.

The original was an off–the–wall hit for Marvel.

It made over a billion dollars worldwide, created a star out of its lead Chris Pratt, and was nominated for two Oscars. The soundtrack of 70s hits went to number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

The teaser for the next film includes the familiar refrain of Blue Swede’s Hooked on a Feeling, and as well as Pratt we see returning cast members Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Rocket Raccoon, voiced by Bradley Cooper.

The release date is scheduled for May next year.
