On Monday morning they filmed shots of Hemsworth and Hiddleston, as Thor and Loki, chatting together on the corner of Margaret and Albert streets.
Onlookers were kept behind fencing on the opposite side of Margaret Street to watch on, as extras walked across intersections and New York cabs and buses filtered down the street in the background to the film scene.

There was an absence of any action, with the main characters simply talking on the street corner.
After each take the fake traffic reversed back up the street and the pedestrian extras returned to starting places.
Traffic, deliveries, pedestrians, and hotel guests will have access to businesses during the closures, although there may short delays for public safety reasons.
The producers promised to keep the disruptions as brief as possible, and have asked for understanding and support.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released in cinemas in late 2017.
