‘Fast and Furious’ holds Australian box office lead

Fast and Furious 7 is still streets ahead of other movies at the Australian box office, raking in more than double its closest rival.
The action juggernaut sold $4.4 million worth of cinema tickets over the weekend, compared with Disney’s Cinderella revamp, which took $2.1 million, according to the Motion Picture Distributors Association of Australia.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 debuted in fourth place taking $1.5 million, while drama The Age of Adaline starring Blake Lively took eighth spot with $694,389.
