WATCH: Kind words from a man who touched us all
A one-minute video tribute to Robin Williams put together by Irish ad agency ModernGreen has generated more than two million YouTube views in a few days.
The video, based on a Williams’ dialogue from Dead Poet’s Society and featuring footage from Hook starts with Williams saying “please, don’t worry so much, because in the end none of us have very long on this Earth”.
The short video articulated what many Robin Williams were thinking when they heard of the news of the death of one of the greatest actors and comedians of the past century.
Robin Williams didn’t act comedy, he was comedy. Comedy has just natural to him.

Meantime, executives behind one of the actor’s final films face the prospect of cutting the late star’s part in the movie, amid reports suggesting the part was not completed at the time of his death.
Williams loaned his voice to the animated character of Dennis the Dog in Absolutely Anything, a live-action British comedy starring Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale, which is due for release in 2015.
Editors of Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper report the part had not been completed prior to Williams’ death in an apparent suicide last week, and movie chiefs are considering bringing in another actor to re-record the scenes.
The film’s star Pegg was unsure if Williams had finished his work on the production.
“I’m not sure Robin had completed doing his voice in the movie. He was doing the voice of the dog and I hope he had completed it because it would be a real shame not to have him in it.
“And of course there will be a degree of sadness there, but the work he did do would have been done with his usual verve and brilliance … It’s a terrible loss.”
