Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared a rare glimpse of their two young children in their Christmas card for 2024.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex unveiled the card on Tuesday (Australian time), featuring a new photo of their kids, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.
The shot is one of six in a montage shared the former royals’ Archewell Foundation with supporters. It shows the children from behind as they excitedly run toward their parents, and appears to have been taken in the grounds of the Sussexes’ California mansion.
The photo shows Harry and Meghan standing on the driveway at their home with their arms outstretched as their children run towards them.
Archie is running towards Meghan, while Harry crouches down to catch a flame-haired Lilibet in his arms.
The shot also features the families three dogs, black Labrador Pula, and two beagles Guy and Mamma Mia.
“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundations. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season and a joyful new year,” the message on the card reads.
The festive montage features five more shots of Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, during this year’s trips to Nigeria and Colombia.

It is a rare glimpse of the two Sussex children, who were last seen in the couple’s docuseries Harry & Meghan, released on Netflix in December 2022.
Pointedly, neither child’s face can be seen – a tactic often used by celebrities to protect their families’ privacy.
Archie and Lilibet last featured on a Sussex Christmas card in 2021, in a portrait taken by Harry and Meghan’s wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski. It showed Meghan is lifting then six-month-old Lilibet while Harry smiled with Archie.
“Happy Holidays. This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family,” the message on that card read.
The last card featuring the Sussex children was in 2021.
The release of this year’s card comes just a couple of weeks after Harry spoke about how happy he was living in the US.
“I very much enjoy living here and bringing up my kids here,” he told a book summit in New York City earlier in December.
“It’s a part of my life that I never thought I was going to live and it feels as though it’s the life that my mum wanted for me.”
Harry said there were activities he “undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the UK” with his children – citing concerns about his security after his royal protection was scaled back following his US move. He is still fighting in the British courts for it to be restored.
He said his focus now was on “being the best husband and the best dad that I can be”.
Harry and Meghan moved to Montecito, California, in the northern summer of 2020, months after quitting as working senior royals.
The duke has been on a string of solo trips back to the UK this year, although Meghan is not believed to have returned since the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth in late 2022.
The couple are not expected to join the wider royal family at the King’s Sandringham estate for Christmas.
