Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he has been battling an “aggressive” cancer.
The TV presenter was talking with farm workers Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland on the latest episodes of his UK documentary series Clarkson’s Farm when he shared the news.
As they discussed the timing of the upcoming harvest on the Cotswolds property he calls Diddly Squat Farm, Clarkson told his cast mates: “I’ve got cancer.”
When the visibly shocked Cooper asked where, he replied that was “of no concern to anybody”.
“I’ve known since May,” Clarkson continued.
“I had a medical, you remember? Back in May… and you know I disappeared the other week and I had a biopsy done and it’s cancer and it’s aggressive.
“But it’s really early so the treatment will be, you know… I was praying that we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it’s going to be smack bang in the middle.”

Clarkson has previously revealed he had urgent heart surgery in 2024.
The 66-year-old made the revelation in the final episodes of Clarkson’s Farm’s fifth season, which began with him talking about heart surgery he had two years ago. The episodes have just landed on Amazon Prime, but it is not known when they were filmed.
The TV show premiered in 2021 and follows the trials and tribulations of Clarkson – dubbed “Britain’s most unlikely farmer” – as he tries to run the 400ha property.
After revealing his cancer diagnosis, the presenter later told Cooper he had undergone initial surgery and had 10 per cent of his prostate removed. However, at the end of the season he said some of the treatment had “gone awry”.
“So we started season five with me in a hospital bed and we are at the end of season five and I’m back in a hospital bed… I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
In an Instagram reel posted before the episodes aired, Clarkson gave followers a heads-up that he had some “sombre news”.
“Ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming and cheerful, um, but the final two episodes… are none of those things, really.
“They’re a difficult watch. They’re really, really difficult.”
