David Schwimmer wants “deranged” rapper Kanye West banned from social media platform X.

The Friends actor has issued a plea to Elon Musk, who owns the platform, to remove the Bound 2 rapper’s account following a string of antisemetic posts, including messages in which he declared himself to be a Nazi and another in which he professed his “love” for Adolf Hitler.

Schwimmer took to Instagram to share a selection of West’s recent comments with his eight million follows.

“This is so 2022,” he wrote.

“We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate-filled, ignorant bile … but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr Musk,” Schwimmer said.

“Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X.

“That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence.

“His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.(sic)”

The 58-year-old actor expressed his disgust that there hadn’t been “sufficient outrage” over West’s comments and warned staying silent made people “complicit” in the rapper’s actions.

“I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalised communities, including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point,” Schwimmer posted.

“Silence is complicity (sic)”.

West – who was previously banned from X from December 2022 until mid-2023 for similar disturbing messages – sparked outrage with his X posts a few days ago.

He wrote: “IM A NAZI” and “I LOVE HITLER,” before later adding: “Hitler was sooooo fresh.”

“I’m racist. Stereotypes exist for a reason and they all be true. You can get money with Jewish people but they always gonna steal and invite you over to they house on Friday,” he wrote in later posts.

“Jewish people actually hate white people and use black people.(sic).”

He also took aim at people who criticised his appearance at last week’s Grammy Awards with wife Bianca Censori.

The 30-year-old Australian-born model appeared on the carpet only in a transparent mini-dress, sparking fears she is being controlled by West.

“I HAVE DOMINION OVER MY WIFE. THIS AINT NO WOKE AS FEMINIST S–T SHES WITH A BILLIONAIRE. WHY WOULD SHE LISTEN TO ANY OF YOU DUMB A– BROKE B—–T PEOPLE SAY THE RED CARPET LOOK WAS HER DECISION (sic),” the 47-year-old rapper – who has been married to Censori since 2022 – wrote on X.

Despite this, West said Censori still needed his “approval” to wear the controversial outfit.

The rap star wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “SHE DEFINITELY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL, MY STUPID A– WOKE PAWNS (sic)”

It follows a source claiming the Grammys stunt has cost West a contract worth $US20 million ($A32 million).

The award-winning star had reportedly been lined up to perform two shows at Tokyo Dome in May – but the controversial incident had made event organisers in Japan reconsider their plans.

“Kanye is just f—- up every opportunity that comes to him. The stunt was creepy beyond belief and has been greeted with horror in Japan,” the source told the Daily Mail.
