Singer Pink has delivered a snappy comeback at a social media user who trolled her about her age.

The online confrontation came last week, after the 44-year-old performer star posted an update about her extended Summer Carnival tour, which also features stars including Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain and the Script.

While most fans were positive about the new concert dates, one was more critical.

“Pink got old,” they posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Rather than taking it as an insult, the Grammy-winning Trustfall singer offered a choice comeback, saying she was “grateful” to be ageing.

“Yes, although I don’t feel old, and I still get to wear a leotard to work, growing older is actually my first ‘grateful’ every day,” Pink wrote.

“What a blessing to have life, years. To be this strong, to be able To still p–s off complete strangers by just existing.

“F— yeah times 44!”

It’s not the first time Pink has hit back at criticism from online trolls. In 2018 she had a similar response to someone who pointed out she was getting older.

“I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old. That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot,” she said at the time.

“I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I’m alive.”

In 2019, she launched into a spray after repeated criticisms of posts of her, husband Carey Hart and their two children.

“I’d like to propose a worldwide internet challenge to anyone reading this today. Go ONE day without criticising someone online,” the singer wrote on an Instagram post.

“Let’s call it the MISS ME WITH THE BULLS–T CHALLENGE. And if it feels good, hey, why not go TWO DAYS. But let’s start with one for the overzealous out there.”
