Underbelly actor Vince Colosimo charged with drug driving on suspended licence

Underbelly actor Vince Colosimo has been charged for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs with a suspended licence.
The 50-year-old’s case was mentioned at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this week, and will return in August, the Herald Sun first reported.
He has previously fronted court for driving while suspended, meaning he could face a massive fine and years behind bars if found guilty.
Colosimo escaped conviction with a $1000 fine after he was twice caught driving with a suspended licence. A first suspended driving offence could result in a $4500 fine or four months in jail.
If found guilty of the subsequent alleged offence, Colosimo could be fined more than $36,400 or be jailed for up to two years under the Road Safety Act.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on August 3.
In January, he was handed a 12-month good behaviour bond and fined $1000 after pleading guilty to possession of the drug ice.
Colosimo is known for his roles in Underbelly, Great Gatsby, The Wogboys, The Secret Life of Us, Chopper and Body of Lies.
