Take a look inside Delta Goodrem’s ‘tacky’ LA mansion

Singer Delta Goodrem is selling her five-bedroom LA home – and it won’t be to everybody’s taste.

Purchased six years ago for $A4.1 million, Goodrem is hoping to return to Sydney with a tidy profit and is asking for $5.8 million.

Described as a “sprawling, lushly landscaped lot” by US real estate site Realtor.com, Goodrem bought the Hollywood Hills home from Whose Line is it Anyway? star Brad Sherwood in 2009.

Judging by the sale, Goodrem, who has been splitting her time between Sydney and LA in recent years, looks like she might be coming home for good.

With an eight-car garage, four ovens and two kitchens, the singer would have had plenty of space to entertain her Hollywood friends, which include singers Seal and Jessie J.

The house, referred to as ‘Mediterranean’ in style, features white staircases, a marble bench top and plenty of white fluffy rugs to lay around on.

Naturally, there’s also a recording studio and a huge master bedroom with purple, satin-look wallpaper, a gold metallic bedspread and matching bed-head.

Goodrem is set to return to Australia to film the next season of The Voice, for which she has served as a judge and mentor since 2012.

The singer was a good ratings winner for Channel Nine, particularly after a series of feuds broke out between her and fellow judge, English singer Jessie J.

Goodrem has since insisted that they are friends off-set.

In 2013, Goodrem appeared on The Voice Kids instead of the regular reality show, saying she wanted more time to spend on her upcoming album.

She sold her Wooloomooloo apartment in Sydney for a cool $1.7 million in 2014, so it’s not known where she’ll live when she touches down in Sydney soon.

The outdoor area of her LA digs features a pool, spa, firepit, waterfalls, fountains and even an outdoor shower – hopefully away from neighbours’ prying eyes.
