Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are maintaining a united front, holidaying with their kids in the Bahamas together, despite announcing a divorce.

The parents of three had planned this getaway no matter what happened with their relationship, reported E! News.

It’s been suggested the pair wanted a private spot to be with their children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, while news of their split made worldwide headlines. 

Some sources told the entertainment website that Affleck and Garner had already been separated for 10 months.

The Daredevil co-stars will most likely settle their divorce in mediation.

“We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time,” they said in breaking their divorce plans.

Affleck will go back to California next weekend because he is set to appear at Comic-Con in San Diego with co-stars from his Batman v Superman movie.

The couple own the property in the Bahamas and decided to go there because of the intense media scrutiny over the split.

Sources told E! News the welfare of their children under the speculation was the main reason they went to the property.
