Marvel fans are really confused about Top Gear
Not THAT Chris Evans, you guys.
Fans of blockbuster Marvel series Captain America are a little bit confused this week after it was announced British radio host Chris Evans would be the new host of Top Gear.
• Who will make up the new Top Gear team?
• Top Gear stars could be switching to Netflix
Evans confusingly shares the same name as Hollywood actor and Captain America star Chris Evans.
The American Evans, who has also starred in The Fantastic Four films, has absolutely no link to the BBC series, nor was he ever in the running to host.
Of course, a lot of people outside of England who aren’t aware of the British Evans’ celebrity profile were confused yet pleased by the news.
Chris Evans will be brilliant on #TopGear. I love Captain America. pic.twitter.com/c5Xl0HotkM

I can only hope by Chris Evans they mean Captain America, not that annoying toss pot on BBC Radio 2 #topgear #doomed

In fact, the real host looks like this:
Not this:
At least we know who the British Evans’ first celebrity guest should be.
