FBI tracks down celebrity nude hacker
New details about the hunt for celebrity nude photo hackers have been released, revealing the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation seized computers from a home in Chicago last year.
According to unsealed documents, the FBI raided the home back in October 2014 and no charges have been filed since.

The Associated Press reports investigators zeroed in on a computer linked to 572 hacked personal iCloud accounts, including those of some female celebrities.
The case made headlines in August last year, when private photos belonging to several high profile people, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton, were leaked online.
An affidavit identifies eight celebrities involved in the investigation only by their initials: “A.S., C.H., H.S., J.M., O.W., A.K., E.B., and A.H.”
A CNN report suggests the initials could belong to Abigail Spencer, Christina Hendricks, Hope Solo, Jennette McCurdy, Olivia Wilde, Anna Kendrick, Emily Browning, and Amber Heard, all of whom had personal data hacked.
One star who spoke to the FBI only learned she was a victim of the hacking through the media coverage, according to the affidavit.
