Radio host Fifi Box has had an uncomfortable run-in with controversial British funnyman Russell Brand.

During Box’s appearance on Channel Ten’s The Project last night, Peter Helliar replayed footage from a segment Brand did on the show last week.

In the footage, host Gorgi Coghlan reminds Brand that Box, whom he has met once before, is a regular guest on the show.

“You’re joking, where is she?! Tell her I wanna see my kid,” Russell responded excitedly, before the producers cut off his audio.

Reacting to the clip, Box laughed and said: “Fortunately, we’ve got to wrap up now.”

“It’s not Russell’s, okay!” she added as the credits began to roll.

Box has never officially confirmed the identity of her two-year-old daughter Trixie’s father, although it is rumoured to be former Australian Ironman Grant Kenny.
