Radio host removed for ‘stupid pregnancy advice’
Former Adelaide Crows player Andrew Jarman has been suspended by Triple M after disturbing comments he made about a footballers’s pregnant wife were accidentally played on air.
The incident took place on Jarman’s Adelaide drive show The Rush Hour with Jars and Louie on Wednesday afternoon and were directed at Port Adelaide captain Domenic Cassisi, who was in the studio.
• Has the AFL killed Friday night football?
• Are the Swans the AFL’s most overrated club?
Jarman and his co-host Dale Lewis were talking about ways that Cassisi’s heavily-pregnant wife could induce labor when Jarman told Cassisi to “just f*** the guts out of ‘em with your big c**k”.

According to The Adelaide Advertiser, producers forgot to remove the comments from the broadcast which was pre-recorded.
The 49-year-old apologised on-air later on Wednesday and said he was “remorseful” the offensive comments had gone to air.
On Thursday afternoon, Triple M confirmed Jarman had been stood down.
“[Triple M] deeply regrets and apologises for the broadcast of inappropriate material yesterday afternoon,” the station said in a statement.
In an interview with Today Tonight after his suspension, Jarman insisted he was “very respectful of women” and was simply trying to offer Cassisi advice.
“We were in the studio and his wife is due to give birth,” he said on Thursday evening.
“So Dale Lewis and I thought we’d give him some advice on some early childhood tips to bring the birth along quicker.
“So I threw out there what my advice and tips were that I used with my lovely wife Marion with our three children and it – yeah, the words came out.
“They were stupid. It was stupid what I said,” he said.
