Draper James is billed as an online lifestyle and retail portal promising “grace and charm” inspired by Witherspoon’s southern roots.

“Draper James is all about the grace and charm I was raised with in Nashville, Tennessee. In the south you can never be too kind, too gracious or too well dressed,” the 39-year-old says in a welcome video on the site.

“You only get one life, so let’s make it pretty … please.”

The website’s name is a combination of the surname’s of Witherspoon’s beloved grandparents, Dorothea Draper and James Witherspoon.

Items for sale include embroidered cocktail napkins for US$85 and US$98 baby blankets.

The website also features a section titled “love, Reese” which showcases snapshots from Witherspoon’s home and work life, along with a series of “Southernisms” inspired by the actress’s hometown.

Paltrow started the lifestyle trend back in 2008, when she launched her oft-criticised website and weekly newsletter Goop.

Lively followed suit in 2014 with the launch of her also Southern-inspired Preserve, which she used to announce her pregnancy.
