Golden Globe Awards 2015 winners

The 72nd Golden Globe Awards were held in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday, US time.

The Globes celebrate the cream of television and film, and is considered one of the major pre-cursors to the Oscars, which will be held in February.

There were some unexpected winners out of the nominations in 25 categories, but as expected Boyhood and Fargo were big winners.

BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE IN A MOTION PICTURE 

Winner: J.K. Simmons, Whiplash
