Robbie Williams live tweets his baby’s birth

Fun loving British singer Robbie Williams has given his fans the ultimate insight into his personal life, by live tweeting his wife, Ayda Field, in labour with their second child.

Field gave birth to a boy this morning in Los Angeles, but the couple have yet to name their baby boy. The couple already have a girl, Theodora “Teddy” Rose, who was born in 2012.

Williams provided his fans with blow-by-blow online commentary from his wife’s delivery suite while she was in labour.

The Angels star posted a string of videos and pictures showing the couple in hospital, including a photo of Field on a bed wearing high heels with the words: “When Ayda goes into labour she comes correct.”

One of the videos showing the pair of them dancing in their hospital room and another where he jokingly tells fans: “It’s quarter past seven, we’ve been here since ten o’clock last night and I know you’re really concerned and worried and thinking about what’s going on. I need you to know I’m doing great.”

Another video, called A River Runs Through It, appeared to show a doctor preparing to break his wife’s waters.

Williams also sung a rendition of Let It Go from the Disney hit Frozen, much to the chagrin of his wife, who was clearly in pain during the filming.

His final tweet showed the couple post birth, but did not include their newborn son.

Williams broke the news on Twitter earlier this year that the couple, who live in Los Angeles with daughter Teddy, were expecting another baby.

The Stoke-born singer first hit the headlines in Take That but quit the group in 1995 and embarked on a hugely successful solo career.

He married Field in the grounds of his Beverly Hills mansion in August 2010 and their daughter was born two years later.
