The Aussie at the centre of the Clooney wedding

It was the wedding of the year, attended by the likes of Cindy Crawford and Matt Damon, but it was an Aussie from the small town of Berry in NSW who had the privilege of being one of Amal Alamuddin’s bridesmaids.
Human rights lawyer Australian Jennifer Robinson was one of four “confidants of the bride” at George Clooney’s Venice wedding over the weekend, according to a Fairfax report.

The 33-year-old is alleged to be best friends with Alamuddin, a few human rights lawyer, after they both represented Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

The London-based lawyer was seen arriving at the wedding with the likes of comedian Bill Murray and the mother of the bride, award-winning journalist Baria Alamuddin.
Robinson also flew the flag for Aussie designers, wearing a black dress created by Sydney-based designer Johanna Johnson.
