Comedian refuses to apologise for Delta dig

American comedian and actor Marlon Wayans has refused to apologise after he called Australian songstress Delta Goodrem “the most unrhythmic white woman” in a post on social media.

Wayans was at a Beyonce concert in Los Angeles when he unknowingly shared an image of the singer dancing on Instagram and Twitter with the caption, “Man I got the most UNRHYTHMIC WHITE WOMAN dancing next to me at the jay and bay concert…This b***h dancing to AC/DC”.

The post has prompted criticism of Wayans, with many labelling him “racist” and “cruel” for the joke.

However, Wayans remains unapologetic for the “joke”, even reposting the image in black and white, writing, “In Black and white…Still can’t dance. I’m gonna annoy u annoying sensitive a**es with collages and repost [sic] of this for floodin’ my damn timeline all day”.

Wayans took to Twitter to share his side of the story with his 1.6 million followers.

“Ok so let me start by saying suck it long, hard and til y’all mouths hurt to all these sensitive ass people,” he tweeted.

“Secondly, I ain’t apologizing for a joke…

“I love that all these people calling me racist cuz I stated a fact. She can’t dance. Apparently neither can u. Now f*** outta here.

“one day people are gonna understand… I simply don’t give f***. And I refuse to succumb to this new world order if not having an opinion.

“All comedians, say what u say and let it be said. Never say sorry for a fact, just say f*** off. Be you, be true.”

Goodrem has responded to the incident gracefully, by posting a video of a popular scene from the hit show Seinfeld in which lead character Elaine showcases some seriously terrible dance moves.
