Cameron Diaz has a say on criticism of her life

Cameron Diaz has spoken about being childless at 41, revealing that she has no regrets and has never been drawn to being a mother.
In a new interview with Esquire Magazine, the actress said that she loved being in her 40s and was enjoying the freedom of not having children.
“I like being 41. I love it. So much s*** just falls away. Fear mostly. It’s the best age,” said Diaz in the interview.
“That’s when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn’t care about that anymore. You just don’t worry that time registers anything awful.”
The actress is on the promotional circuit for her new film Sex Tape with Jason Segal from television series How I Met Your Mother.
Diaz also spoke about going through labour on-screen for the movie, saying she’s happy not having children in real life.
“It’s so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for — I didn’t take that on. That did make things easier for me,” she said.
“I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother.”
Diaz admitted that she no longer cares about what people think of her.
“Right now, I think, things are good for me. I’ve done a lot. And I don’t care anymore.”
